How we keep every cheer honest.

A ranking is only worth something if people can trust it. These are the rules, and we enforce them.

    Cheers are limited on purpose

    5 per category, refilled every 6 months. That’s what makes each one count.

    One person, one account

    We verify phone numbers. Duplicate and fake accounts are removed, and their cheers with them.

  3. 3

    No paid ranks, ever

    Businesses can claim listings and buy tools. They can never buy cheers or a higher rank.

  4. 4

    No cheer-for-reward

    Offering discounts, gifts or contests in exchange for cheers gets a listing paused.

  5. 5

    Rankings are just maths

    This week = cheers from the last 7 days. All time = every cheer. No secret weights.

  6. 6

    You can ask to be removed

    If you’re a real person on Cheer For and don’t want to be, we’ll take you off.
